These initiatives reflect our commitment to deepening our community presence and expanding the quality of our services.
We currently operate without a dedicated office space, which limits our administrative capacity and community access. We plan to construct a purpose-built office that will house our administrative team, serve as a meeting space for community members, and provide a permanent home for our growing library collection.
Building on the success of our Frisbee program for girls in Balijan, we want to establish a full Sports Academy that offers structured training in multiple disciplines. The Academy will focus on gender inclusion, youth leadership, and physical wellbeing — with qualified coaches and formal training tracks.
Drama and performance arts are powerful tools for expression, confidence, and social awareness. We plan to establish a dedicated Drama Centre for children where they can learn theatre, storytelling, and performance arts — building communication skills and giving voice to their experiences.
We currently collaborate with 20+ partner organisations. We plan to significantly expand this network — particularly with government health departments, academic research institutions, and international NGOs — to deepen our program quality and widen our geographic reach across India.

We believe in transparency. These are the real challenges that affect our work every day — and why your support matters so much.
We need more skilled staff — particularly trained counsellors, program coordinators, and field workers with experience in community development. Finding and retaining talent in remote areas remains one of our biggest constraints.
We need a separate building for our office work and community library. Working from shared or temporary spaces makes it difficult to provide consistent services, store materials safely, and maintain proper records.
Working across two very different states — Assam and Uttarakhand — with distinct languages, cultures, and dialects means constant coordination challenges. Creating materials in Van Gujjari, Sadri, and Assamese alongside Hindi and English requires dedicated effort and resources.
Both Assam and Uttarakhand are prone to flooding, landslides, and extreme weather. These events regularly disrupt program delivery, damage infrastructure, and divert resources towards emergency relief. Building climate resilience into our programs is an ongoing challenge.
