Jeevan Shiksha

Rooted in Communities, Growing Together

Jeevan Shiksha was started in 2017 to work with marginalised communities in Assam and Uttarakhand. In Assam, we partner with Adivasi tea garden communities. In Uttarakhand, we support the Van Gujjar community — many of whom now live in settlements without proper access to healthcare and education.

Our work began with community libraries and has grown to include mental health, livelihoods, menstrual & maternal health, nature education, and access to government services.
